Political Movements

Emily's list:  a political action committee (PAC) that aims to elect pro-choice Democratic female candidates to public office. The PAC was born from the work of a women's group meeting who first met in the home of Ellen Malcolm, author of When Women Win: Emily's List and the Rise of the Women in American Politics.

Essex County 6 Indivisible: a local chapter of the larger Indivisible movement, which seeks to develop a network of local groups  in every congressional district committed to resisting the Trump Agenda.
